How many people you know who are completely satisfied with their appearance and mostly feel good on a daily basis? How many you know who are having weight issues, different small or big health issues and are on medicine?

If you follow this blog and the category Recipes, for sure you know that I do healthy food in general. But if you know me personally, than you know that I also love to eat junk food and I really enjoy it. It all appears balanced…eating very healthy for while, then few days a bit unhealthy (especially here in Sarajevo) then again back to track and so on…also the weight…ideal then a bit less ideal with few kilos too much….more disciplined in summer less in winter and so…

But recently I see it does not work like that. Lack of energy, small and a bit bigger health inconveniences (more and more every day), lack of energy…About those things maybe some other time. What is important at this point is the decision! To go further then before. Not to stop half way but to go to the end. To heal the gut! Wanting or not, that food we love (dough, salty, sweet, greasy) is our poison! Which is slowly killing us. And the lucky ones get to find out when it is getting too much. I feel lucky!

But what now? Where to start? How to squeeze it in a stressful  day?How to leave old habits and start new ones? How to pass by fast food,bar  or pizzeria? How to sit with your friends and drink tea while everybody else eats sweets? And how to be happy about it? Not just in front of the others…

And what to eat? Where? To bring little packages with fruits or vegetables? Where to buy those healthy and organic ones not having to pay a fortune or get nervous breakdown when your sugar is low…not knowing what you should eat and not wanting to eat that you should…finally you decide to have a salad but you get mayo with green addition! You eat it happily thinking you are so great eating healthy but you get blown as a frog…also from the bread you ate with it because you could not resist. .. and so on and so on…

At least this was always bothering me when I have tried in the past….

And what do you do when you do not know what to do? You ask a friend! I am so lucky to have a friend who is also an amazing nutritionist and taking care that I do properly this procedure, leading me through whole process and making sure that my body does get everything it needs respectively gets rid of everything what is making it unhappy. Especially, making me understand how important proper functioning of our gut is – to understand that this is a whole universe which makes every other universe we see as more important, function properly!

As I have made my decision now finally I though that making my everyday journal could help somebody. .. Somebody  who wants the same and not knowing where to start! Maybe from the beginning!

First mine and then your own.

Next few weeks I will try to post at least one post per week about eating healthy daily challenges  – from capital of great food Sarajevo, through traveling to being at home in Austria! Good and bad stuff…sharing it really looks like…in case you wonder 🙂

If I make it technically , will make some  vlogs too (already subscribed to my new Youtube channel?) For sure there will be some daily updates also on my Instagram…
