My dears, this cake came from heaven. Do you know that expression that something tastes so good you would never guess it is healthy? This is one of them for sure. The amount of chocolate in the dough makes it a bit wet and soft, but gives pure melting chocolate feeling when you eat it. It contains all the whole food ingredients so you can eat it guilt free.
You do have to be very careful as the calories are the same or even more then in “normal” chocolate cake but this one will do miracles in nourishing your body. All the good stuff in one place…coconut oil, nuts, 70% chocolate..

I made it in the evening and it should be in the fridge until morning, so I could photograph it in a day light…only half survived, that is how good it is! 🙂

So here is the recipe:

6 eggs
200 g 70% chocolate
150 g coconut oil
2/3 cup agave sugar of maple syrup
1 1/2 cup hazelnut meal
2 tsp vanille powder
strawberries to decorate
whole hazelnuts to decorate

Preheat oven to 100 degrees C

1. separate eggs whites and yellows
2. melt chocolate in coconut oil, let it cool down for 5 min
3. mix sugar and yellows until smooth foam is made
4. add chocolate mass, vanilla and hazelnut meal
5. mix good until smooth
6. make foam out of egg whites and mix slowly in the chocolate mass

Depending how big your round baking pan is and how thick the cake will be, you should bake it from 10-20 min. I would suggest to sit by the oven as the first time mine went over the edge and I had to throw it away (well most of it as we still ate the middle :)))
